Its also getting annoying that the TV service appears to be becoming increasingly unstable - ie losing programme data and requiring frequent reboots (on all three STBs that we have)!!!!

After Five US was added to the Guide yesterday (and after Five Live moved from 149 to 186). My STB was running extremely slowly. Sometimes taking over a minute to respond to commands from the remote control, and this is after only having ntl TV for 10 days

Called up ntl, and was told to replace remote batteries. But i know it's not the batteries as the box DOES respond, just long after i press button on remote. Also, the Power light does flash red when pressing a key. And using the volume (and Mute) keys immediately make the appropriate changes to my TVs volume.
I have a Pace 4001 STB. Why are ntl still supplying Pace STBs? I was under the impression they were being replaced by the new Samsung one?
