Get onto retentions and threaten to cancel if they don't waive the £75. They shouldn't penalise a loyal customer like that. If they call your bluff, go ahead and cancel, then re-order, at which point you'll get it free anyway, and NTL will have failed to reduce the customer churn figure they claim to care so much about.
