Whenever I have used the tool, on NIS 2005 and 2006 it has worked fine, but I have known of problems that others have had. The other week I was helping a friend with their laptop, and had to remove Norton Corporate by manual methods - even the add/remove would not work, it was very time consuming and a right pain. Glad you got it sorted in the end though - and I guess you've joined the Symantec haters club
