to the forum. As you discovered, the only difference between Standby and On (on the pace boxes anyway) is that the TV Scart socket shuts down. So, not a lot of difference in current.

The Pace box should ideally be left on, but the easiest option may be to just do as I do, and switch the wall socket off of a night.
