OK, lets go through this step by step again...just to check things!
1. printer installed on PC with latest drivers (check manufacturers web site, also what printer is it?)
2. print test from PC, OK?
3. printer shared from PC, with what name?
4. procedure followed in previous post to connect the Mac to the shared printer
5. print test sent from Mac to PC
6. print queue monitored on PC to make sure that the job is being sent to the printer - the print queue can be viewed by simply double clicking on the printer icon on the PC, if the Mac is sending the job then you should see it appear in the window.
Sorry if some of this seems a little simplistic, but it might just help to clarify things!

just one other thing i thought of...what are the IP addresses of the mac and PC?
