It seems, however, that Qualcomm have sold it, and the new owners are looking to re-write it based on the Thunderbird code. My understanding is that it will effectively become a commercial version of Thunderbird.
Hopefully, this will introduce some fresh development ideas to Thunderbird (not that Thunderbird is bad - I like it), and us Thunderbird users will slowly start to reap some rewards for having paid development time allocated to the project.

http://www.eudora.com/ ?, i never really used Eudora as at the time it seemed under powered, but then for me coming from the amiga THOR (now thats a POWERFUL app, shame they never ported it to windows) anything did at the time

but i think Eudora might have good options if they do it right, never really cared for any of the windows clients, perhaps ill find another THOR one day.
