No but you can buy a wireless router (Linksys WRT54GS for example)

if your getting 3 for £30 you wont get a stand alone modem, you will get a set top box that contains the modem

most likely if you ask the installer
personally ive had the odd problem with NTL in 10 or so years but nothing that hasnt been sorted either quickly or after a couple of attempts and financial compensation. Cant comment on Sky as ive never used them
