Hi, I have moved into a new house with the 1mb bb with cable modem and D-Link 524 router. I connect wirelessly and the connection says excellent max bars 54mbps strength. Downloading is fine but when I begin uploading the speed of the connection slowely drops to 1mb until eventually uploading ceases. I only get 15kbps max upload which drops below 10kbps until the numbers stop moving and I have to disconnect, and upon reconnection I have full speed 54mbps connection again.

Why would this be happening?

I have tried the connection wired and the upload is still low at 10kbps and usually gets lower, but the connection maintains and I am able to complete uploading.

So is it just a case of the wireless signal not being strong enough for uploading...if such a thing is possible?
