i think the main reason why several companies were not allowed to have cable in the same area is due to the local councils.
if there are 3 cable companies in one street it means that when there is a blocked T the road will have to be dug up 3 times as much causing 3 times as many problems, in an ideal world it would be good to dig it up once and get all the work done but can anyone actually see that happening?
