Hi,

I'm with NTL broadband for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£20 a month 2mb line. I recently got a call from ntl saying they could offer me 2mb broadband, digital tv (sky sports) and telephone line rental (+ free weekend local + national calls) for Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£47 a month. This all sounds pretty good.

So I ring sky and tell them I want to cancel because ntl have made me a decent offer and I begrudge giving any money to Rupert Murdoch. The sky rep claimed NTL have been having lots of customers leaving after 12 months and going back to sky and BT, but refused to tell exact details of why people were leaving on legal grounds. I know NTL customer services are generally dreadful, but my broadband has been working pretty well for the past 2 years.

So my main questions are is their tv and phone service any good? Are the calls priced similarly to BT? Any catches?
