Because people still keep trying to hack it. Believe it or not, Windows is an absolutely massive program!

And it's normally a month between patches as they're rolled out 2nd Tuesday. But the IE fix was released out of cycle...

Plus it is possible some of the six patches are NOT for XP but other versions, possibly 2000, 2003, etc?
