I checked the official sticky but found nothing conserning this on there.

The tv screen is stuck on the 'we are updating your service screen' and on the stb itself is stuck on 'tune'. It has been like that for days. Anyone know what the issue is and how i could fix it?

Yes its an issue with signal strength, requires a tech attendance - ring 151 from you ntl phone line to speak to faults.
