Can Router Cope with Speed Increase?

I have BY 10meg shared thru a Linksys BEFSX41 wired router. I have seen on another forum that some speedtrials appear to be taking place at a 784k/20meg speed. My router has one 10/100 RJ-45 internet port and modem is webstar DPX100.

Assuming this is to be considered the next stage of speed upgrades (altho we all know how long these things take and no increases have been confirmed) can my router cope with this speed or will I need to change it? If I need to change it, can anyone recommend a router which is compatible (preferably not netgear as I have bad experiences of them). If my modem needs changing I expect BY to swap it as part of the eventual rollout.
