I suppose in NTL's defence they have always been upfront that the VOD trial for BBC Pick of the Week was free as it is supposedly a trial (I'm sure I read that in some gumph or other).
The irritating factor is the very recent inconsistency as to what gets selected. Eg Rogue Traders was picked for the last series, but not the current series...why ? Who actually determines what gets selected - maybe it is out of NTL's control ?
Anyway, these recent events have meant I can no longer rely upon it, and have taken to recording off Freeview - VOD would only ever get used by me when there was an NTL clash, and this should all be academic soon, once the PVR is up and running
