NTL say they have done their bit by providing tv and any video problems are my problem and that I should check with the manufacturer of my equipment. All of the connection seem to be correct, but it doesn't explain the channel changes. I can only assume the signal from my TV remote is interfering with the analogue box.
Any advice or comments would be appreciated as at the moment NTL are reluctant to send and engineer.

Where abouts do you live?
If you live in Westminster, I doubt it will ever be upgraded to Digital, if you live in Milton Keynes, then you should get onto NTL and demand discounts and when they are going to upgrade the area as the set top boxes are very old and outdated.
