If sky has the rights to certain live games, there is nothing anyone can do, apart from either paying a subscription or nipping down to the local to watch it. I think the point trying to be made is that the BBC has only successfully bid for England home games. This peeves off a lot of scottish, welsh and irish license fee payers, as it does england fans who have to watch away games on sky.
