The Bromley non-VoD software (known as BU2) currently has quite a short timeout to make changing to one- and two-digit channels quicker. The Bromley VoD software behaves the same as the Langley software (i.e., longer timeout). I believe the timeout is very long on current Telewest software as they have only ever had three digit channel numbers.

Yes, it will still exist, but only for Near Video on Demand (i.e., Front Row, Special Events and some Adult PPV on Bromley), same as now. It's not listed in the leaflet partly because you don't need to specifically switch to it, the box automatically tunes to what's shown as channel 0 when the programme starts. And partly because it doesn't really exist, it's only an illusion of a channel!
