Im just going to try the idea above about deleting all gamespy references and then loading it up to see what comes up.
Hehe, ive been using it for a good few years now (this and me old laptop) and havent really noticed much of a problem with it, except its over zealous protection at times when it comes to situations such as ports in this case.
If you recommend any other decent and free firewalls which allow for specific port openings, hey feel free to list em'

After having problems with it after an update i ditched it and went to
Kerio which is a very good free firewall. I'm unsure about ports and stuff though.
