I am looking for advice really on one or two questions
fistly, I am thinking about buying the linksys router but would like one with the old firmware as I beleive that the bios is alot bigger on the old models than the new ones any idea where I could find an old wrt54g? as there are more firmware options out their for the older routers.
Second question, I have become interested in voip and was thinking of purchasing a pap2 as the firmware can be flashed to work with any provider. I am bit confused on Linksys's website because it says I will need a bridge, yet my understanding from some of the other forums is that the pap2 can be plugged into one of the router ports? I have been trying to look for connection diagrams on the net and havent found any. that is to say is it plugged into the routers port? I have an ntl cable modem I think its the 250
any advice please,
