Your view is right - there really should be a high profile campaign before this happens, and employees, such as the ones that post on here, should really know in advance what is about to happen.

However, this, as with many things, shows that ntl have still not got their act together with respect to customer service. There will be a lot of confused punters, as there appear to be confused employees, and there will be a load of calls about this.

Why is it that time and again, under different sets of management, ntl manage to engenger such confusion? Acting in this way as well reduced the usefulness of sites like this in preparing, albeit a smallish number, of punters for these events.
