Not at my friends house at the moment so cannot tell u model of modem.
Yes Digi TV via STB and the motorola modem box is connected to broadband via separate STB cable
They can use the internet using a cat5 cable from the ethernet port of the modem into a laptop, i have done IPCONFIG on the laptop and it does display the internet IP address.
Again sorry for confusion and thanks for your replies so far.
Off to bed now but will get hold of the model number tomorrow.
