Yup use them both amongst other things thanks, along with monitoring for large drops in modem numbers, however certainly couldn't monitor individual modems (over a million of them ) or even street cabs (6 figures of them ) most of the monitoring of this nature is by design for the IP network, not HFC.

As I said though monitoring for large drops in online modem numbers is done.
