Thats one thing that puts me off ADSL when i had a BT phone line my internet access was terrible due to a noisy line had engineers out 10 times and still it would come back. I don't know if noise would affect ADSL in the same way as dial up but I'm not going to lay out on the off chance. So until I move house i've got no choice other than NTL who I've always been happy with up to now.
