are they very large files that you are trying to upload?
Also, try running a test on your upstream by going to
www.pcpitstop.com chosing the internet connection tests and then upstream...
When you are trying to upload, make sure that you disable any firewall software that you are using just to eliminate this as a cause of your problems.
