Another possibility I thought of was a version clash or a conflict between your TV card and another device on your machine.

It's possible too that another piece of software, possibly even Windows, is incompatible with the software.

Sometimes too, a program running at startup can interfere with your device.

Hopefuly, when you check these out you may find a solution.
