The 4000 STB uses seperate IR sensors for the IRDA (black remote) and RC5 (blue) remote signals. I can't remember if they are near each other or on opposite sides of the display - if the latter, you could probably mask the RC5 sensor. (if the former you may be able to carefully clip the display window out and mask the sensor - I didn't say, that, right
