apps5.oingo ? spyware ?

://apps5.oingo.com/apps/domainpark/domainpark.cgi?client=netw8744&s=ftp2.trappfamily. net

Hi all, a bit of a story, followed by some questions, so please bear with me, I'll try and keep it as short as poss ..... TIA

The addy above, ( i've removed the http at the start oof the link ) is one i'm being directed to when looking up a download for megamame. I did a bit of searching on google for apps5 and it came up with a few things,

1 ) It seems to be some sort of spy / malware, is this so ???
2 ) Another thing that was thrown up is that it was linked to Google's " I feel lucky " button...... again, is this right ?
3 ) I tried to find a specific removal tool, found one, installed it and, what do you know, I cant access the internet, kept on getting, page cannot be displayed etc etc. I have done a system restore and am back to normal, I think

Sooooooooo, can anyone shed any light on this " apps5 " thingy and if so, a removal technique ???

TIA
