This makes me so mad. First of all, 'aquiring' a box by any other way than an official installtion is illegal.
Secondly, I'm incensed that it was even suggested that you call out an engineer to come a fix an stb which as AFAIK is not broken, just the wrong colour...

How about NOT wasting a call on your dodgy dealings, and leaving an engineer appointment for someone that actually
needs it.
It people like you (and your
mate ) that cost ntl money and time, essentially affecting the services they're able to offer to decent customers.
