before contacting NTL, as I am more than likely to get :
a)
an answer

b) a
sensible answer

c) logical questions if the answer is not clear.
as opposed to a scripted response, and comments along the lines of " we don't support networks " as soon as they discover I have a router.
(also I tend to be able to diagnose to a certain level myself, and this forum has people who can confirm both diagnosis and resolution.)
