The office update tool supplies the lite version which need the Office CD's, but if you open the MS security bulletin (more info link on Office update) you can download the full file version (no CD needed). Only for the XP 02 and 03 versions. I have Office Pro 00 on my desktop and don't feel the need to pay the upgrade costs just yet.
