They used to use Sophos at the college I go to. The UI wasn't too nice. They also seem to update their definitions monthly from what I can gather from their website - is this something to be worried about, seeing as NAV update theirs daily.

I refuse to install the latest NAV and Mcafee products on my system because of their bloatedness.
AVG works fine here daily updates and so far it has yet to let me down when people have emailed me attachments without realising they are infected It may be free but it works well
