If they have only been with the company a short time surely it would not be an issue, there were incidents of vandalism in south wales shortly after a load of employees were laid off from a installation contractor.

We all know people who have robbed the company, one even used his butt phone in a cabinet to phone a taxi when he left the pub. Another ordered thousands of pounds worth of equipment for his own personal use. Another one repudedly sh*t in one of the cabinets

None of these people thought they would get caught.

This sort of thing happens, some people do things when they are leaving companies it's a fact.
