OK, just tried scanning the screen of my mobile - and it works fine. Yipee. Although some of the messages concerned are a bit more than a 'screenful' I will be able to cope with a couple of scans. Although the phone concerned may hold enough SMS messages until the solicitor is able to view them and comment on what should be done, at least I am now confident that I have a way of preserving those messages "just in case".
