I'm back off a long weekend and I think that's what I'll have to do.
I'm going to give it one more try today to do it by phone and then its trusting the post offcie (HA HA) to deliver the letter in a timely manner.

p.s. just had a note from NTL re my last DD payment bouncing (because they won't move the due date) dated 02/09 I got it on 20/09 (had been mis-delivered by the PO))
