Well I had Pace 4000 for a long time before it was swapped for a Samsung. After one week I'd had enough, it performed worse than the Pace did (with upload and download going at the same time speeds went to hell). So I requested a swap to SACM which I now have and so far is running very reliably at 1.5Mb
You'll be doing yourself a favour going with SACM. I really do believe in this case it is best to have one box dedicated to one job. Either I was unlucky (Samsung upload/download problem and fairly frequent crashing of the Pace) or the STBs really do struggle with the usage they have to cope with.
