Typical NTL - one hand doesnt know what the other is doing.

Got a samsung box installed today even though I'm only the 750 service and thought why not ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£13 extra for double speed aint bad. So phoned up CS and asked if I upgraded would I get 1 or 1.5 meg. Advisor asked me if I had a silver box - replied yes I do - "well then sir, you will definately get 1.5 meg. So went ahead and upgraded.

Did all the rebooting etc - ran a speed test - hmmm 1020k - call to BB Tech support - 45 minute wait (charged for) - then was told in the rudest terms that if CS are giving out wrong info its not their problem and there is nothing they can do about it. So back onto to CS spoke to nice lady who confirms that the info they have is that as soon as samsung is delivered customer can receive 1.5 meg.

Totally ridiculous!!!!!!

Off to research ADSL prices!!
