Re: canx my NTL account today.
I cancelled my digital TV for Sky+, kept my phone and broadband.
When I returned from holiday, my broadband had been cancelled as well! I was told that the only way I could get up and running was to re-register which would mean another years contract!
I ranted and eventually I was re-connected.
Wasted a lot of time and was without broadband for 4 days.
Sky+ is a marvel. I hung on for NTL to pop in a hard drive to their STB for long enough.....
