I am currently using Mozilla 1.5 and was thinking of upgrading to 1.7.3 but everybody seems to be raving about Firefox nowadays.

Simplicity is the only thing I can think of.
I'm not switching though because I'm running Mozilla App Suite 1.8 and compared to Firefox it's much faster, stable and more useful to me as a developer.
Mozilla starts
instantly on my system, faster than IE even due to the quick launch feature and it renders pages faster too.
