Yes, I know I can call CS, and will eventually, but

a) I'm interested to know what the problem actually is and

b) At best they'll send an engineer, and I have to wait a month for that because I can't be at home, so I wanted to know NOW if it might mysteriously start working again or whether that's a forlorn hope.

I hoped somebody might know what error 1043 was.
