Just posting a note here since I saw heatsinks mentioned. A recent build I did used an AMD 64 processor and I basically had to fully dismantle the heatsink to fit it onto the motherboard properly.

Be very careful when fitting heatsinks/fans on processors. If it's not properly secured, don't leave it as it is!
