You lose the benefit of being able to select multiple long distance calling plans through access numbers, 18888, 1878 and all those.
NTLs lines are supposed to be very high quality as the network is newer.
You may get CLI, you need to confirm this up front.

To answer whether it is worth it would probably require a breakdown of your calling patterns, time of day, destination type (mobile, local, long distance, national rate, premium rate).

You can get BB over cable without the need to move your phone line, the two products are independant (unlike TV which is bundled with Phone).
