kronas, by saying this i dont mean turn yourself into somebody you arent, but i doubt you are as ugly as you make out, im sure alot of people think this way.
Small things to boost your self-esteem like after ive been to the barbers, theres that small bit of extra confidence or if im wearing a particular t-shirt...i know it sounds very materialistic and a crap view that people judge you on looks first, but i just find that thats how our youth society ticks, i do try and keep in with small things like that, but am still a free spirit.
Maybe you can get a job? (sorry if you alread have...im clueless on people here :s) preferably where you'll be meeting people (what job doesnt?!) and im sure your confidence will grow with it.
I know you said that you wouldnt do weights, but since i have been doing it i find it uplifts my confidence. Not that the girls like a buff looking person, im not the person to flaunt my body in any way, and wouldnt, but it does rise your self-confidence.
but hey kronas, your hormones are still raging, what says that in a few years you wont be so complied to feel you have to have a girl...but then again you probably will be by then
I think most people fear rejection or feel they are not up to the job, heh theres no harm in trying? If somebody doesnt like you move on, its no loss to you, there are plenty more fish in the sea.
Good luck

Some good points, some women like materialistic things. I bumped into an ex-girlfriend recently who as it happens dumped me, some will probably remember me being a bit down about it. When I bumped into her a few weeks ago she kept feeling my shirt, it was a very nice looking one with an embroided label but that does impress some people. I am not suggesting you kronas are a scruffy sod, (dont take offence) but some women are impressed by things like clothes so possibly its a good point.
I also dont like the rejection, and its worse in front of your mates. I have a friend who always makes me go and chat to the women, I'm sure he likes to see me rejected as he has a good laugh when it happens. The real funny thing is when I have left him on his own for 15 minutes and I'm having a good time, he comes over then to get in on the action.
Perhaps its better to try chatting to women out of the way of your mates if you are on a night out, I know it used to worry me when I was younger being rejected in front of them. These days I dont care less, if they act all stuck up I just draw to their attention the lack of guys queing to talk to them
It's hard enough plucking up the courage to approach them, but to get an off attitude from them dents anyones confidence. I have often talked to women who have approached me, even if I haven't fancied them, its just common courtesy IMO.
