It's true, I think the majority look at the outside only. You have to be positive and "smile" a lot, I have met women in clubs and they have been very nice people as not all of them are just looking for a quick one night stand. On the other hand I have looked at dating sites and in my age bracket mid-late thirties it seems to be full of divorced women with half a dozen kids that think guys are all nasty ****! It made me wonder why they were on there looking for another one.
One of my pet hates, is when a woman looks and you both smile at one another across a crowded bar, she has to look around to her friends to get their approval. Very often her miserable jealous friend pulls a face because her attitude means she never gets any guys herself. I often go out with my mates and I guess most of them could be described as better looking than myself, but I am usually the one to attract the nice women because I am polite and smile. (I know some will find that hard to believe)
Dating sites are not the answer if you think you are not attractive, you will not get very far without posting your photo and if you do start chatting they will want to see what you look like pretty quickly. having said that, I exchanged emails with a lady for a while and I never asked for her photo.
My photo was posted so she knew what I looked like, she asked me why I hadn't asked to see a photo and I told her I was waiting for her to show me one, when she did email me a photo I was very suprised and even more suprised when I met her face to face.
I think dating sites can be more dodgy than meeting in a bar, honest guys are up against the bulls*****ers who will say anything and make their profile look great, just to get their leg over without the wife knowning.
I have looked at datingdirect (Fairly good) Loopylove and udate, I even had a look at adultfriendfinder but wouldn't advise it for prudes!
Best of luck Kronas, the only real advice I can give and it will probably sound unhelpfull is "Women can always spot a desperate bloke, they can smell the desperation aftershave a mile off. I usually get chatted up by women when I am not looking myself, if you go out with the attitude that you are looking for a woman tonight, you will not find one or at least end up with something very unsuitable"
