Russ, mate, please don't take this as a personal attack or anything, however I have to say the pictures are pretty terrible!
Sorry, but having done a fair bit of photography myself, there are a whole bunch of problems with them, faces disappearing into shadow, red eye, intrusive background, flash bouncing back off the walls...
You've got some nice ideas and a pretty girl who obviously knows how to pose, it's just a pity that the end result doesn't really do them justice.
