I'd recommend the Pen-Y-Gwrd Hotel (more commonly known as
The P.Y.G.). It's right in the heart of Snowdonia with fantastic views of the Snowdon Horseshoe and ideal for tackling it too. Watch out for the signatures of some summitters on the ceiling of the Everest bar. Reasonable prices too.
