And sadly, Doctors do make mistakes, and can prescribe the wrong thing, either through overwork/tiredness, or just sheer incompetence (That's not a sweeping statement by the way, as I say the majority of them, if they make mistakes its through overwork -it's more pointed at the one doctor I know of like that - prime example, prescribing ear drops for an eye infection - thankfully the person he perscribed it to, had enough sense not to use them).
