I was in the middle of writing you all a letter of condolance last night but himself came in and I had to offer sympathy here so I never finished it.
However in my attempts to cheer him up I touched on a very sore issue.I mentioned that they may possibly in the next two years have got it together enough for the World Cup.He said that he didn't care about the WC
as he didn't think they would be good enough but that he really thought that they only stood a chance of winning in Europe but not the WC.
Is this why the over the top support was so over the top?
