To be honest I did feel sorry for the Italian goal scorer, his face when he realised his goal counted for nothing was a picture. On balance Italy did not play well enough and the two best teams in the group qualified. Now if only the Czechs put out a decent side we can get rid of the Krauts as well, somehow though I see the Germans sneaking through again.
