I recently highlighted my plight a few posts down about not being able to get any good out of customer services in upgrading my service..

A few days later I tried again and managed to get through, finally. I found someone very helpful who put me through to the person who originally dealt with my order who was NOT so helpful. I had to explain exactly what I wanted and when I tried to tell him that I already had the analogue converter boxes, he asked what a converter box was....

I eventually found out why my order had gotten lost. The CS centre that deals with my area apparently has not had their computer system upgraded, and they track orders by scribbling information down on pieces of paper and hand them to their supervisors... this is dismal!

I have finally booked an installation date (although that involved waiting a few hours for them to call back since he had to check the diary..) but the point still stands.

Has anyone else ever been told this before, or know anything about it?
