just to be clear, there are 2 parts to the process - the 'domain' and the 'hosting'.
the domain ( the 'name' of the website e.g. microsoft.com - hehe you can't have that one

) is yours - you can buy one from a third party or I-Web will buy one on your behalf - (although, as I understand it, there may be an intermediate deal where they will host you a site on a domain they still own ? )
So yes - the hosting, if you already have your own domain name, you will only pay a webhost their fee for putting 'you' on their server and running the account.
I have to declare I also use I-Web - a *.com domain & the basic package is about £20 a year, for me, I think

- so cheap I rarely think about it.
